We are seeking a skilled Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct venipunctures and obtain/prepare blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
- Assist technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred.
- Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes is preferred.
