About the Chief Executive Officer RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as our third Chief Executive Officer in 45 years. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for serving seniors, a strong sense of connection, and knowledge of the healthcare sector. They will be a strong leader of vision, mission, and people, with a proven track record of building, empowering, and inspiring a diverse staff to meet and exceed organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Winter Growth's strategic direction, collaborating with the Board, staff, and key partners to design, implement, and track goals aligned with the vision, mission, and strategic plan.
- Develop and maintain a trusting, transparent working relationship with the Board of Directors and ensure open communication about the success and challenges of financial, programmatic, and operational performance.
- Ensure ongoing organizational excellence, performance evaluation, and consistent finance, administrative, fundraising, communications, and other organizational systems.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and build positive relationships with the community to deepen Winter Growth's impact.
- Demonstrated unwavering passion and commitment to the mission of Winter Growth.
- Prior experience in healthcare, long-term adult care, senior adult day program, or residential and/or long-term care preferred.
- Proven executive leadership experience with a track record of effectively building, empowering, supporting, and inspiring a diverse staff to meet and exceed organizational goals.
- Possess strong, clear, and transparent communication skills, capable of engaging, connecting, and inspiring various stakeholders, including staff, clients, families, and community partners.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, who can bridge the gap between strategy and operational execution, who brings experience navigating the complex and evolving healthcare landscape.
- Experience overseeing essential executive functions, including strategy development, financial management, operations, and programs, aligning with the organization's goals.
- Demonstrated keen business acumen and a proven record of managing complex policies and procedures while consistently maintaining an ethos of collaboration, trust, cooperation, and care.
- Ability to thrive both internally by fostering strong relationships with staff and strategy and externally with community partners and organizational champions.
- Displays an interest and curiosity in understanding the Montgomery and Howard County communities if new to the area.
The salary range is $140,000 - $160,000. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Winter Growth offers generous benefits and a dynamic environment.
Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis. The position will remain open until filled.
