About the Role

Moses Lake Community Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Provider to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to Moses Lake Community Health Services' policies and procedures, within the outpatient setting.
  • Work within Scope of Practice: Function within the approved scope of practice as designated by the Credentialing and Privileging Committee.
  • Consult with Colleagues: Provide consultation to other clinic providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assess Patient Needs: Assess patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic care, and make appropriate referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document Patient Information: Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the Electronic Dental Record, adhering to Moses Lake Community Health Services' policies.
  • Manage Billing and Insurance: Ensure complete and accurate billing of patient visits, in accordance with Moses Lake Community Health Services' policies.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide clinical supervision and training to ancillary healthcare staff, in coordination with the Dental Leadership.
  • Participate in Preceptorship Program: Participate in the preceptorship program with dental students and other health professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement: Suggest improvements to clinical performance through evidence-based programs and processes, ensuring continuous quality enhancement.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work with the Chief Dental Officer to develop and implement effective disease management programs, clinical protocols, and guidelines, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain Professional Development: Maintain authoritative skills and knowledge in the principles of sound dental practice by completing continuing education requirements.
  • Meet Performance Goals: Work to achieve contracted requirements for patient visits and clinical quality goals for patient care.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited dental school and possession of a valid dental licensure within the State of Washington.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possession of reliable transportation and documentation of auto insurance and a valid driver's license, as required.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel between work sites as needed.
