Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC and Mechanical Systems.
  • Work with Electrical / Electronic, Security Systems, BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and repair controls systems, and manage and maintain automation controls and sequences.
  • Manage plant controls and automation to ensure efficient operations.
  • Install Controllers and engines as needed, and manage patches and software upgrades to control systems.
  • Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year technical degree plus 5 years of experience in a Facility Maintenance environment, or 10 work experience without technical degree.
  • Ability to maintain all HVAC systems (AHU's, Chillers, DX sys, pumps, cooling towers, etc.).
  • Working and operating knowledge of Building Automated System (BMS), preferably Metasys & N2 DDC controllers.
  • Working understanding of UPS and Generator systems.
  • Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industrial & commercial HVAC building automation controls.
  • Proven Electrical system working knowledge a PLUS.
