Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC and Mechanical Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repair work for controls and automation systems
  • Manage and maintain automation controls and sequences
  • Manage plant controls and automation to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage patches and software upgrades to control systems
  • Service, repair, maintain, monitor, and adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters
  • Perform a variety of service work for areas such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, and machine servicing, etc.
  • Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks
  • Provide detailed information related to procurement group for new supplies and equipment
  • Provide assistance and training to internal employees and customers
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year technical degree plus 5 years of experience in a Facility Maintenance environment, or 10 years of work experience without a technical degree
  • Ability to maintain all HVAC systems (AHU's, Chillers, DX sys, pumps, cooling towers, etc.)
  • Working and operating knowledge of Building Automated System (BMS), preferably Metasys & N2 DDC controllers
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs requests
  • Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
