Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to provide exceptional support to our dental practice at Community Health Center of Buffalo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist chairside, maintaining a clean and organized operatory, managing dental equipment, and interacting professionally with patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside using the principles of four-handed dentistry, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized operatory, adhering to approved disinfectants and manufacturer's recommendations for dental equipment.
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments, expose, and develop radiographs, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Manage an inventory of dental supplies, ensuring timely ordering and restocking to maintain optimal levels.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, making appointments, and using computerized patient information systems, providing excellent customer service.
- Interact professionally and supportively with patients of all backgrounds and ages, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental office experience, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- NYS Registered Dental Assistant certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence in the field.
