About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Specialist to join our dynamic team at Illinois Alarm. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for installing and servicing electronic life safety & security solutions, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, camera systems, access control, and intercoms
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality installations and services
Requirements

  • Must possess State of Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or have proper background to obtain PERC card
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication formats to subscribers and office staff
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the low voltage industry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • NICET Level 1 certification preferred; if not certified, must be able to obtain NICET Level 1 within 18 months of hire
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, as well as comprehensive health care benefits, 40 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO), holiday pay, and continued education paid for by Illinois Alarm.
