Fostering Futures LLC is a leading provider of residential care services for at-risk youth, seeking dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Workers to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for individuals who can create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of our residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and supervision, implementing behavior management strategies, promoting positive social interactions, and collaborating with clinical staff to implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Care and Supervision: Provide 24/7 care and support to residents, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
- Behavior Management: Implement evidence-based strategies to manage challenging behaviors, working closely with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Social Interactions: Foster positive relationships with residents, encouraging socialization, and promoting emotional well-being.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resident behavior, progress, and incidents, ensuring timely reporting and communication with clinical staff.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions, contributing to the development of treatment plans and supporting the delivery of high-quality care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college education or relevant certification preferred.
- Experience: Experience working with at-risk youth or in a residential care setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
