Telecommunications Career Opportunities

Adcomm MDU Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining DIRECTV services in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during all phases of DIRECTV system installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Install, test, and repair DIRECTV products and equipment in accordance with quality standards.
  • Use specialized meters and tools to test and troubleshoot DIRECTV equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in cable installation, telecommunications, or related field is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of cable systems, networking concepts, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for installation and repairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Have basic tools, such as adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, cable strippers, cutters, coax and Cat 5/6 crimpers, cordless drills, and Ethernet punch down tools.
  • Have equipment, such as cable testers, multimeters, connectors, QAM meters, and Super Buddy meters.
