Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding support to our licensed insurance agents regarding pending and active annuity or life insurance transactions.
- Examine annuity applications and related documentation for precision and thoroughness, noting any outstanding requirements and following up with agents.
- Engage in proactive daily communication with carriers to ensure timely processing of pending transactions, accurately updating our CRM with current statuses and promptly relaying information to agents.
- Handle agent and carrier workloads with urgency, commitment to accuracy, and responsiveness, while identifying and prioritizing critical situations.
- Establish and nurture strong, effective long-term relationships with IAMS producers.
- Oversee special projects as assigned.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance to meet business service level expectations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
This position operates Monday through Friday, full-time during standard office hours. Please note that this is not a remote position.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in insurance.
- Experience with data entry and CRM systems is preferred.
- Professional phone etiquette is essential.
- Ability to collaborate within a close-knit team while working independently.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Adherence to policies, processes, and guidelines is crucial.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer platforms while engaging with customers.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Punctuality and attendance are critical, as your colleagues and clients rely on your presence.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
