Certified Medical Support Specialist

Marcos Medical Care is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in the Stone Oak area of north San Antonio, Texas. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in delivering high-quality services.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care Practice and be proficient in using Athena EMR System. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to providers
- Perform various medical procedures, including venipuncture and sterile dressing changes
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients and families
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is required. The successful candidate must be able to use Athena EMR System.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
