Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and secure their financial futures.
Responsibilities- Discuss financial concerns and needs with potential clients identified during the prospecting process
- Ensure effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education through an array of service offerings including high-quality insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and more
- Hone your knowledge and professional skills by successfully completing the New York Life training curriculum
- Obtain optional licenses to sell investments and other securities products concerning wealth management and advanced planning
- Increase your client base by creating and implementing strategic business and marketing plans
- Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
- Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented
- Strong business expertise and knowledge
- Backgrounds in people-oriented careers are a plus
- Backgrounds in teaching and coaching are a plus as well
- Must be able to engage your community and tap personal networks to identify contacts
- Articulate complicated concepts using superb written and verbal communication skills
- Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required
- Growth mindset and sales experience strongly preferred
