Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and secure their financial futures.

Responsibilities
  • Discuss financial concerns and needs with potential clients identified during the prospecting process
  • Ensure effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education through an array of service offerings including high-quality insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and more
  • Hone your knowledge and professional skills by successfully completing the New York Life training curriculum
  • Obtain optional licenses to sell investments and other securities products concerning wealth management and advanced planning
  • Increase your client base by creating and implementing strategic business and marketing plans
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
  • Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products
Requirements
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong business expertise and knowledge
  • Backgrounds in people-oriented careers are a plus
  • Backgrounds in teaching and coaching are a plus as well
  • Must be able to engage your community and tap personal networks to identify contacts
  • Articulate complicated concepts using superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required
  • Growth mindset and sales experience strongly preferred
