Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at The Vintage Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill or unstable patients.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the care of critically ill patients, including those who are unstable or at risk of deterioration.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • One or more years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in critical care or ICU.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • One or more years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in critical care or ICU.
