Job Summary

As a Clinical Pharmacist in our Institutional Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, verifying medication orders, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care meets the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Verify medication orders and ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications
  • Provide clinical consultation and make recommendations for safe and cost-effective pharmacotherapy
  • Oversee the medication dispensing process and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
  • Precept pharmacy students and residents as applicable
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D; Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • No experience required
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
Professional Licenses and Certifications
  • Pharmacist, Registered - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Pharmacist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Pharmacist - Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
  • Pharmacist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
