Position Overview

The Degree Audit Specialist plays a crucial role in the University Office of the Registrar, focusing on the maintenance and support of degree audits and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

The Specialist will:
  1. Oversee updates to the degree audit module in alignment with new academic catalogs.
  2. Address and resolve issues related to degree audit rules.
  3. Implement changes to program evaluations as requirements evolve.
  4. Support curriculum management by creating and maintaining Course Catalog information essential for class section development.
  5. Manage assignments related to General Education codes, course fees, requisites, topics, and academic organization.
  6. Assist in the configuration and processing of Curriculog and Acalog.
  7. Facilitate the degree conferral process, including managing diploma holds and communication.
  8. Coordinate with diploma production and handle enrollment and degree reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC).
  9. Process daily degree verification requests and submit reporting files according to established timelines.
  10. Act as a liaison between the registrar's office and NSC & NSLDS for enrollment reporting.
  11. Provide degree completion letters for specific requests.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience with an automated degree audit system, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Familiarity with collegiate curriculum and graduation requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning enterprise systems.

Desired:
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Campus Solutions.
