Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians, and operating cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body.
Responsibilities- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality images are submitted to PACS.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning, reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
