We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate CT scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images, using your technical expertise and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Computed Tomography (CT).
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in imaging or radiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
