Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record all invoices for payment using SAP.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or unusual invoice items.
  • Investigate and address vendor inquiries and invoice discrepancies.
  • Oversee regular payment cycles including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team and Controller to resolve Accounts Payable issues as they arise.
  • Generate and analyze monthly and periodic financial reports including PPV & surcharges, GRIR, and blocked invoices.
  • Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and assist in the Month-End closing process.
  • Develop Monthly Accounts Payable Cash Flow forecasts and perform variance analysis.
  • Maintain GRIR account aging and recommend solutions for outstanding issues.
  • Conduct general maintenance of Accounts Payable functions.
  • Support the Forecasting and Budgeting processes as required.
  • Analyze variances from budget and forecast.
  • Actively participate in the Finance team to enhance operational processes.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices to foster continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in health training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles and systems.
  • Familiarity with cost accounting standards.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly ERP systems and spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
