Job Overview

The Felton Institute seeks a highly skilled Senior Clinical Housing Program Lead to oversee the Behavioral Health Services team in one of its apartment buildings. This leadership position provides structure and program development, in collaboration with the Director of Older Adult Mental Health Services.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with clinical case managers, registered nurses, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and community specialists to provide onsite support to residents. You will also lead the creation of a welcoming community milieu within the apartment building by supporting meal programs, community building events, and tenant organizing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical professionals to provide onsite support to residents.
  • Create a welcoming community milieu within the apartment building.
  • Collaborate with property management to support tenants in maintaining stable independent housing.
  • Attend meetings with building partners, funders, and external partners.
  • Perform intakes and comprehensive psychiatric assessments for adults and older adults.
  • Provide crisis intervention and management to prevent eviction and hospitalization.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work or other Professional Counseling Programs.
  • Previous experience in leadership, preferably within a residential setting.
  • Registered with active license with BBS.
  • Experience in case management and mental health treatment for at-risk adults and/or older adults.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal formats.
