About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at ConvenientMD. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting healthcare providers, and ensuring seamless clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient interaction and support, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and prescribed medications.
- Support clinical operations, including patient preliminary evaluations, triage, and basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
- Administer medications under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and effective communication with providers and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Medical Assisting certification with at least one year of experience or two years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Compassionate, authentic, and patient-focused, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
