Job Summary

The primary role of a LPN is to oversee, coordinate, and provide direct intervention for health-related issues affecting program participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medication records.
  • Assist residents in understanding their medications and ensure they are taken as prescribed.
  • Provide nursing care, including wound care, tracheostomy care, and diabetic counseling.
  • Assess residents' health and emotional needs.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing and program staff, reporting serious issues to the Nurse Manager and Program Director.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a medium lifting requirement, involving occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds, frequent exertion of up to 20 pounds, and constant exertion of up to 10 pounds.

Shift and Schedule

This position involves working a standard day shift with no weekends required.

Requirements
  • LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) certification (preferred).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required).
  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) certification (required).
Location

This position is located in Arnold, MD, and relocation is required before starting work.
