Position Overview:

A fulfilling full-time opportunity for an Athletic Trainer to provide services to various organizations affiliated with JAG Physical Therapy. This role offers new hires the potential for sign-on bonuses reaching up to $5,000, along with relocation assistance of up to $2,500.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver athletic training services and manage relevant administrative duties for the contracted organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics established by the National Athletic Trainers Association.
  • Develop and maintain an effective athletic training program, including a fully equipped training room and updated policies.
  • Provide care during athletic events, ensuring a safe environment by monitoring potential risks.
  • Oversee the medical management of athletes, including preventative care and maintaining health records.
  • Act as a liaison for workers' compensation cases, managing claims and facilitating referrals.
  • Document all treatments and injuries in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Conduct educational programs for local schools and communities on health and fitness topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited program.
  • BOC certification and maintenance of required continuing education units.
  • State licensure as an Athletic Trainer in New Jersey.
  • Current BLS certification and personal liability insurance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and demonstrate flexibility.
