Quality Assurance Specialist

Calex Manufacturing Inc., a leading manufacturer of DC-DC power converters, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the site's Quality Control activities and requirements on production products and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with experience in manufacturing or production line environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Quality engineer to ensure product quality and compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance on quality control procedures and ensure that all quality check procedures are followed during every production phase.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure product quality and train operators as needed on quality requirements.
- Perform Out of Box audits and maintain equipment calibration.
- Support the global QA team and ensure that all quality metrics are collected and updated.
- Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.
Requirements
- High School diploma required; Associates or college degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing quality assurance and quality control or related industry experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or production line environments.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures.
- Proficient in a variety of computer applications.
- Strong regard for quality assurance according to company and industry standards.
- Good knowledge about industry products and processes.
- Understanding and in-depth knowledge of quality standards such as IPC, IATF, and other electronic manufacturing related standards.
