Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at TRIGO ADR Americas. As a key member of our supplier quality organization, you will be responsible for executing and expanding on key initiatives to drive supplier quality and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess suppliers' manufacturing and quality processes through audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100.
  • Lead and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities to achieve optimal disposition of non-conforming material and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform on-site supplier visits to analyze root causes of quality issues and verify corrective actions.
  • Promote and facilitate the use of customer-preferred techniques for continuous improvement, such as Lean, Six-Sigma, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
  • Escalate unresolved supplier quality issues and provide technical guidance to suppliers to solve process and product quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reporting of supplier performance and quality improvement progress.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.
  • 5-8 years of FAI experience with AS9102 standards at a quality engineering level.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, standard drawings, and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of FAA, EAR, and ITAR standards and regulations.
  • Experience leading customer audits and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Quality Engineering tools and systems, such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, and APQP.
  • ASQ or equivalent professional certifications, such as CQE, CQT, or CQA.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
Working Conditions

Typical office conditions, with occasional travel to suppliers' sites. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Competitive salary range: $70,000-$105,000.
