Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Synergis. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architecture roadmap for applications and integrations, leading the development and build out of specific products, and reviewing business context for solutions to company challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Roadmap: Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap for applications and integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Product Development: Lead the development and build out of specific products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Business Analysis: Review business context for solutions to company challenges, defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, and selecting the most optimal option.
  • Stakeholder Management: Initiate both group and one-on-one meetings with senior management to gain a clear understanding of business drivers and functional requirements.
  • IT Platform Design: Lead design and architecture discussions for IT platforms, engaging with other staff engineers and engineering teams across different business units to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
  • Solution Identification: Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Communication: Communicate the architecture to stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead architecture, design, and code reviews with engineering teams, providing oversight on delivery to ensure industry best practices, design patterns, standards, automation, quality, timeliness, operational readiness, continuous improvement, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers and the technical team within a domain.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in software engineering & technology.
  • Technical Skills: Proven technical leadership and skills in creating, leading, and implementing customer-facing tools and/or custom enterprise systems at large enterprise scale, experience running high throughput low latency user-facing microservices, experience with programming languages- Java EE, latest features leveraging functional programming, experience with front end development, testing, and design system usage, experience in BigData and NoSQL technologies like Cassandra, Big Table, or equivalent, extensive knowledge around various data integration patterns against databases (inbound and outbound) to solve for real-time, and batch workloads, experience with cloud computing on at least one of major providers (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, broad and deep technical understanding of the technologies in this field, including but not limited to data engineering for large-scale machine learning on Cloud preferably Azure Fabric, modern system architecture patterns, experience in designing event-driven mechanisms, publish/subscribe models, experience working with modern SQL / noSQL Databases, experience with React.

Preferred Experience:

  • Education: Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Data structures, Object-oriented programming, functional programming, cloud Technologies, experience in building cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot or equivalent, experience in performance engineering, destructive testing methodologies and tools, experience in designing and running A/B Tests and analyze the Key metric, experience in writing SQL to get analytical data from Azure Synapse or equivalent OLAP databases, experience in designing event-driven mechanisms, publish/subscribe models.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000 annually (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
