Automotive Service Porter Position at Driven Collision

The Automotive Service Porter is essential in enhancing customer experience by ensuring vehicles are meticulously cleaned prior to delivery and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the service center and administrative areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold cleanliness in office spaces by regularly emptying waste bins, mopping floors, and dusting surfaces.
  • Maintain tidiness in production zones by properly disposing of refuse, sweeping floors, and organizing tools and equipment.
  • Ensure that parking areas and grounds are well-kept, including snow removal as necessary.
  • Pre-clean customer vehicles prior to repair work.
  • Thoroughly clean both the exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are completed.
  • Safely transport vehicles to external repair facilities when required.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in the automotive field is advantageous.
  • Must possess clear close vision and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Positive demeanor and eagerness to learn.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pull, push, and carry items.
  • Willingness to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift heavy objects.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and work in proximity to moving machinery.
