Job Description:

Pacific Medical Group is a well-established primary care group with approximately 32 providers in 6 clinic sites throughout the greater Portland metropolitan area.

This suburban, neighborhood clinic is deeply rooted in the community of Tigard and has provided exceptional care to several generations of families.

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 2 years experience, or a Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 3 years experience, within an out-patient Primary Care clinic to join our team.

This position is to accommodate a rapidly growing patient population, making it easy to quickly build a full practice.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional and individualized patient care that emphasizes preventative care while helping to manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

We are looking for a NP who is comfortable with a wide range of patients from small children to geriatrics.

Compensation:
$120,000 - $180,000/year

40 min establishing appointments
Light, shared call (no hospital call)

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Abilities:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Minimum 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner within an out-patient Primary Care clinic
Minimum 3 years experience as a Physician Assistant within an out-patient Primary Care clinic
Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Respect for patient's confidentiality
Compassionate and approachable
Responsible and trustworthy
Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements:


While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
