We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the Emergency Department.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current certifications in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
