Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Verovian Agency. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and improving nursing practice in the critical care setting.

Job Summary

The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will utilize their advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and competencies to provide direct patient care, educate staff, and implement evidence-based practices. Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced, direct care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
  • Conduct and facilitate regular training sessions to ensure staff competency and professional development.
  • Lead and participate in critical care unit rounds, case reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Disseminate research findings through presentations, publications, and professional forums.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with specialization in clinical nursing.
  • Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in critical care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in the specialty area.
  • Strong proficiency in clinical assessment and critical thinking.
  • Competence in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical technologies.
