Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Stonecreek Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a clean and sterile environment
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients
  • Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols
Requirements
  • Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required
  • Registered Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in IV catheters placement, blood work, and IV, IM and SQ injections
  • Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and working with various monitoring equipment
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

Hourly pay rate starting at $20-$24, negotiable based on credentials and experience.
