At Equus Workforce Solutions, we're dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through workforce development services. As we continue to grow and evolve, we're seeking a highly skilled Director of Cyber Security to join our team.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the North American cyber security team to ensure effective and collaborative work environments.
  • Develop and deliver a regional cyber roadmap, tracking benefits and progress.
  • Oversee the annual cyber assurance program and engage with regional lines of business.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.
  • Advising regional lines of business, legal, development teams, and IT on security requirements.
  • Manage regional cyber security policies and standards, risk assessments, and risk register activities.
  • Ongoing monitoring of Equus Workforce Solutions' compliance with regional legal, regulatory, and IT security requirements.
  • Develop automation and continuous monitoring capabilities of security controls.
  • Enhance security testing capabilities of the region.
  • Participate in industry forums/committees and complete an annual professional development plan.


Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity role, with a track record of managing security programs and teams.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role or equivalent environment.
  • Solid domain experience from an Information Security standpoint.
  • Strong, self-motivated, outcome-driven, and productive work ethic.
  • Participant in state, national, and international cyber security bodies and networks.
  • Standard cyber recognitions such as CISA/M, CISSP, SABSA, or equivalent.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, organisational, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent Risk Management experience.
  • Cloud security experience preferred.

Salary Range

$130k-$160k
