Quality Assurance Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Administrator to join our team at Kamatics Corporation. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for supporting various administrative tasks, including documentation for parts and processes. Although technical knowledge is not required, we are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic about learning aspects of our quality and machining processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Quality Team with internal and external audits, including regulatory audits. Perform end-of-year audit overviews and support root cause investigations on internal and external non-conformances. Work well in a team environment and have the ability to work independently when required. Develop strong communication skills using verbal, written, or electronic media. Design and explain concepts and requirements to those with less training and background. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to the supervisor. Support Material Review Board (MRB) and MRB walk activities, communicating results to the Quality Team and associated Value Stream. Manage internal change processes and make recommendations for improvements to work processes and procedures. Contribute to and lead 6S, Shelf Life Material, and FOD Programs/Audits in value streams. Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers, as well as Quality Management. Contribute to a positive teamwork environment and perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training and learning other QA positions, accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Quality function, preferred. Experience in a Job Shop environment encouraged but not mandatory. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required. Familiarity with quality and machining processes, with a willingness to learn. Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to design and explain concepts and requirements to those with less training and background. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, as well as Quality Management. Ability to contribute to a positive teamwork environment and perform other duties as assigned. Ability to participate in training and learning other QA positions, accomplishing related results as needed.
