Inspector - Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team at Kaman Specialty Bearings & Engineered Products. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerance. You will also identify defects in surface, dimensional, visual, and non-conformities to blueprints and Kamatics' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical components and assemblies
- Identify defects and report non-conformities to Quality Supervisor and cell leader
- Use CMM tools and instruments to verify dimensions to drawing specifications
- Maintain records, data, and logs as necessary
- Prepare products and related paperwork for presentation to customer or source inspection
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing inspection experience
- CMM Operations and Programming
- Advanced Shop Mathematics
- Geometric Tolerances and Dimensions
- SPC
