Job Summary
Ahtna, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly
Clean surfaces, including dusting and polishing
Vacuum and wax floors as needed
Perform routine heavy cleaning tasks
Move furniture as needed to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Document weekly and monthly tasks to ensure accountability
Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations
Follow established procedures for handling and mixing chemicals

Requirements
3 months of general experience in housekeeping or sanitation
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of janitorial methods, practices, materials, tools, occupational hazards, and safety precautions
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Work Environment
The work environment is an office building setting and/or apartment housing setting. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
