Job Opportunity: Polysomnography Tech - Sleep Lab Center

Full-Time, First Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Tech to join our team at the Sleep Lab Center. As a Polysomnography Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting in the performance of sleep studies and the collection of data used for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of patients for sleep studies, including setting up monitoring equipment and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients during sleep studies, collecting data and ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Work under the supervision of registered polysomnographic technologists or sleep medicine professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required, or higher.
  • Must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 6 months.
  • One year of polysomnography experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and electronic documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
