Job Title: Polysomnography Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technologist to join our team at Baptist Health. As a Polysomnography Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the performance of sleep studies and the collection of data used for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Under the supervision of registered polysomnographic technologists or sleep medicine professionals, help prepare patients, set up monitoring equipment, and monitor patients during sleep studies.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required, or higher.
• Must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 6 months.
• One year of polysomnography experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and electronic documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
