Polysomnography Tech - Sleep Lab Center - $6,000 Sign on bonus for qualified individuals
Full-Time, First shift
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Assist in the performance of sleep studies and the collection of data used for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
* Under the supervision of registered polysomnographic technologists or sleep medicine professionals, help prepare patients, set up monitoring equipment, and monitor patients during sleep studies.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED required, or higher.
* Must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 6 months.
* One year of polysomnography experience required.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
* Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and electronic documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
* BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days
