Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all areas to the highest standard of cleanliness within time limits.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Report any shortages, damages, or security issues to management promptly.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables to prevent stockouts and ensure a smooth operation.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and act in line with company policies and licensing laws at all times.
  • Perform various cleaning duties as assigned, including making beds, vacuuming, mopping, changing sheets, doing laundry, and stocking rooms.
  • Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive.
  • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as hallways, public restrooms, and the hotel lobby.
  • Respond to general questions from guests during their stay in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Document rooms cleaned and report lost and found items, as well as any damage or repairs needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in a relevant field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated, with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
  • Customer service orientation and a helpful attitude towards guests.
  • Prioritization and time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Professionalism, speed, and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Knowledge of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification, with a strong educational background.
  • Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Over 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper, with a strong track record of success and a commitment to excellence.
