Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, analysis, and execution of systems engineering lifecycle activities, including requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and integration.
  • Assist in the development of system architectures, designs, and interfaces, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on systems engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.
  • Participate in the development of technical proposals, and provide input on system design and architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve system design and performance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • 18+ years of experience in government or industry in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems and solutions.
  • Proven experience with systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and integration.
  • TS/SCI clearance, or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Software Development Framework certification.
  • INCOSE Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Membership or leadership participation in professional organizations such as INCOSE, ACM, or IEEE.
