About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of NewsBreak. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our data pipelines and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support our data-driven applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and platform engineers to understand data needs and drive key data infrastructure decisions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure components.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data infrastructure with other systems.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • Experience with databases and data infrastructure, including big-data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Kafka, and Flink.
  • Experience improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.

Our base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$221,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer discretionary bonus and options. Contact your recruiter for more information.
