Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning & Leadership
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans that align with growth and profitability objectives, meeting daily, weekly, and monthly customer and financial commitments and SQDC-related KPIs.
  • Partner with other functional leaders to ensure alignment on the New Product Development roadmap and on-time/budget product launches, as well as other strategic growth initiatives.
  • Direct and coordinate operations teams in implementing metrics, process improvements, and organizational changes to drive continuous improvement.
Operational Efficiencies & Cost Savings
  • Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks for production/planning/forecasting, and analyze data to facilitate improvements to relevant systems functionality.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda, using Lean and 80/20 approaches, to identify improvement opportunities, problem solve, rapidly implement countermeasures, and sustain solutions that drive advancement of CI culture.
Talent Development
  • Support and drive a performance-based culture through the development and cascading of clear and measurable objectives, ensuring timely formal and informal feedback is provided.
  • Evaluate organizational structure and implement changes to leverage investments in talent, including conducting a review of global operations processes to identify improvement opportunities, evaluating role structures, and providing growth/development opportunities for strong performers.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and/or Supply Chain Management, including 5+ years of multi-site responsibility at a senior level.
  • Expertise in Lean implementation (Six Sigma Black Belt preferred) and experience in 80/20 implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 80/20, JIT, SCM, TQM, Total Preventative Maintenance, and financial measurement tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, particularly for balancing multiple priorities.
  • Sound computer skills, including hands-on capability with word processing, spreadsheet, project management, and business systems (ERP).
