Job Overview

Na Hoaloha Ekolu is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at Star Noodle. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a smile and make eye contact, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Seating and Reservations: Manage seating arrangements, including assigning tables and handling reservations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
