Relationship Manager

About the Role
Bank of America's Community Development Banking group is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Real Estate Bank, you will play a crucial role in building stronger and healthier neighborhoods in low- and moderate-income communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and coordinate the delivery of community development financing and associated banking products and services to a portfolio of client relationships and prospects.
- Work with our best customers and prospective clients to create financing strategies for the development of affordable housing, community revitalization, and rehabilitation.
- Act in an advisory capacity to assist clients in accessing all areas of the bank to meet their financial needs.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years' experience working within Commercial Real Estate, Community Development, or LIHTC investing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of real estate fundamentals, credit training, and underwriting, as well as sales training/skills.
- Must possess the flexibility to travel throughout the region in support of clients.
Education Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment
This position supports the South Community Development Banking team, covering affordable housing developers out of Bank of America offices in Washington, DC, Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa, and Ft. Lauderdale.
