At Bohler, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Permitting Department. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee the technical, financial, and staff development aspects of our permitting operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to staff, setting clear goals and objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and growth.
- Develop and execute permitting strategies and policies to secure timely federal, state, and local approvals.
- Manage and delegate tasks to the permitting team, ensuring the scope and quality of work products meet our high standards.
- Build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, driving collaboration and efficiency in our projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve our permitting processes.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing large teams, preferably in the AEC industry.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
