VMR Strategic Solutions is in search of a Senior UC Engineer to support our client’s needs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in network architecture and will be responsible for documenting and reporting all network outages and related issues in accordance with established protocols. A CCNA collaboration certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Adhering to network security regulations and guidelines
- Diagnosing and resolving common Unified Communications challenges, including endpoint issues, bandwidth limitations, profile discrepancies, and configuration errors
- Engaging in additional Tier II/III initiatives or upgrades as assigned
- Delivering After Action Reports (AARs) for effective Problem Management
Essential Education and Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Must fulfill DoD IAT Level II criteria upon employment
- In-depth technical knowledge of VoIP, software, hardware, and telecommunications standards, including Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Unified Presence
- Familiarity with VTC equipment such as Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco CODECs, and Cisco Meeting Server/Cisco Meeting Manager
- Comprehension of TCP/IP, H323, and SIP protocols
Required Clearance: TS/SCI
Work EnvironmentConditions: Onsite
