Overseas Adventure Travel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Director to lead our North America Escorted Tours. As a Tour Director, you will be responsible for delivering an unforgettable experience to our travelers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging itineraries that showcase the best of North America's natural wonders and cultural attractions.
- Lead a team of vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of tour logistics.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to traveler needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough research on destinations, attractions, and cultural experiences to enhance the tour experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales strategies.
- Participate in pre-tour briefings and training sessions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for travelers.
- Monitor and report on tour performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in tour guiding, leadership, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of North America's history, culture, and natural wonders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly wage.
- US$ 6 to 8 per person/per day tipping (group size from 35 to 42 travelers).
- 35% Excellence Incentive per departure (Approx $1000 per departure).
