Key Responsibilities:
- Perform requested repair and maintenance tasks as outlined in customer repair orders.
- Advise Service Advisors on additional repairs and services that may benefit the customer.
- Utilize technical expertise, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Document all work completed and track time for customer jobs and warranty repairs as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct test drives to assess customer concerns and confirm the effectiveness of repairs.
- Collaborate with Parts Department, Service Advisors, and Management to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, taking care of dealership equipment and facilities.
- Engage in ongoing technical training, both on-site and off-site, as required by the manufacturer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Demonstrated good driving record.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Experience with Ford vehicles and/or ASE certification is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work outdoors as needed.
