Job Summary

Anovorx Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists with various tasks, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Answering Calls and Transferring Calls: Respond to inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and payers, and transfer calls to the correct team or department as needed.
  2. Outbound Calls and Data Entry: Make outbound calls to patients, prescribers, and pharmacovigilance groups, and enter data into our computer system, recording prescriptions, patient medication profiles, and progress notes.
  3. Quality and Performance Improvement: Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement and quality activities, ensuring our high standards of patient care and safety.
  4. Patient Care and Safety: Perform all aspects of patient care in a safe and efficient manner, reducing the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
  5. Pharmacovigilance Services: Participate in pharmacovigilance training, receive and report adverse events, product complaints, and medical inquiries, and assist with fulfilling contracted pharmacovigilance obligations.
  6. Technician Functions: Receive new or transferred oral medical and prescription orders, transfer copies of oral medical and prescription orders between pharmacy practice sites, and perform other technician functions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  7. Registration and Certification: Maintain registration and certification, and display proof of registration and certification at the pharmacy practice site.
  8. Attendance and Reliability: Regular and reliable attendance is expected, and other work-related duties may be assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year experience in retail or specialty pharmacy.
  2. Certification and Registration: Current unrestricted state technician and national CPhT certification, and registration certificate at the pharmacy practice site.
  3. Skills and Abilities: Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and able to conduct repetitive motions of answering phones and keying.
  4. Professionalism and Confidentiality: Present professionally on the phone and in person, and adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations.
