Your Role:
You will lead a team of pharmacy professionals, overseeing a program that elevates the quality of our pharmaceutical services while benefiting from the expertise of CompleteRx's clinical team.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for ensuring that our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians receive continuous training, competency evaluations, and performance enhancement initiatives to optimize pharmaceutical care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, effective, and economical medication therapies for patients in alignment with established protocols.
- Develop and uphold policies that enhance patient outcomes through appropriate medication use.
- Facilitate programs aimed at reducing medication errors and improving reporting and analysis.
- Promote education and training for pharmacy staff to ensure high standards in medication management.
- Act as a key advisor on hospital committees related to medication use.
- Maintain up-to-date drug information resources for healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate advocacy for clinical pharmacy initiatives and foster inter-professional communication.
Departmental Contributions:
- Supervise pharmacy personnel and assist in developing performance standards.
- Monitor financial statistics and manage expenditures within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Residency Program Oversight:
- Serve as a role model for pharmacy residents and oversee program improvements.
- Recruit and select residents, maintaining program integrity in accordance with accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
- Current pharmacy license in the State of Tennessee.
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency and relevant pharmacy practice experience.
- Leadership experience in pharmacy is preferred.
