We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory team at UnityPoint Health. As a RN Ambulatory/PACU Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery, conduct assessments, and provide necessary education.
- Specialize in recovering patients from anesthesia after surgeries, as well as procedures in the Endoscopy and Cath Lab.
- Stabilize patients before transitioning to the next phase of care.
- Diploma from an RN program.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in the secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS.
